Five Ponds Golf Club Receives NGCOA National Course Of The Year Award For Pennsylvania

Jan 26, 2021 | Press

Five Ponds Golf Club, located in Warminister, PA, is pleased to announce that it has received the prestigious NGCOA National Course of the Year Award for Pennsylvania and nominee for the national award. Five Ponds Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course with a full service grass practice range and a 3-hole short course practice area. The golf course and its practice areas are state of the art and in immaculate condition. The name of the club is a giveaway to the “Five” spectacular water features on the golf course, most notably the par 3, 17th over water to a beautifully contoured green complex.

Owned by Warminster Township (PA) and managed by Spirit Golf Management, Five Ponds Golf Club is a shining example of how a public/private partnership can result in a profitable and growing enterprise which contributes to community. Five Ponds Golf Club operations are fully supported by the Township. In 2019 the township approved a $1.4 million dollar irrigation project to continue long range planning for efficient water use and excellent conditions, a project which was successfully completed in the spring of 2020. In addition, the township continues to participate in a capital improvement program that actively demonstrates to local residents, as well as customers from other areas, that Warminster is fully invested in keeping Five Ponds as an asset and attraction.

Five Ponds Golf Club has seen a steady increase in rounds of golf during the past 4 years in addition to the explosion of students participating in the Club’s Spirit Golf Academy programs. Current projections for rounds of golf, even amidst the pandemic, are expected to be near 45,000 overall in addition to 200+ students.
